Soccer Recap: Texas City Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in January, Texas City was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and the Friendswood Mustangs finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The Stingarees had to tread lightly for part of the game as Nate Fox and Fernando Gonzalez were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Texas City's draw gives them a new season record of 2-7-2. As for Friendswood, they moved theirs to 3-6-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Ball the next time they take the pitch. Friendswood will head out to face Ball at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Texas City will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
