Islands had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Sharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Islands easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13.

Islands' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Woodville-Tompkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Islands will face off against St. Andrew's at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they will take on South Effingham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
