Basketball Recap: Kings Christian Takes a Loss

Kings Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Caruthers Blue Raiders. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Raiders earlier this season, when they won 63-56.

Kings Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Caruthers, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Kings Christian will take on Riverdale in a tournament on Monday. As for Caruthers, they will be taking part in a tournament against Chavez at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
