Volleyball Game Preview: Parlier Panthers vs. Fresno Christian Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Parlier Panthers and the Fresno Christian Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

It was a proper cat-fight when Parlier faced off against Wonderful College Prep Academy last Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Fresno Christian's good fortune finally ran out last Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Reedley. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 27th.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Reedley scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Parlier's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-13. As for Fresno Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-22.
