Volleyball Game Preview: Guadalupe Centers Aztecs vs. East

Guadalupe Centers is 0-3 against East since March of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Aztecs will face off against East at 5:00 p.m. Guadalupe Centers will be strutting in after a win while East will be coming in after a loss.

Guadalupe Centers took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Northeast.

Guadalupe Centers was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, East came up short against Park Hill South on Monday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-14, 25-4.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-2. As for Guadalupe Centers, they pushed their record up to 10-10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Guadalupe Centers suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to East in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Aztecs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
