Hudson dropped their record down to 6-4 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 10-2 to the Red Hook Raiders. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bluehawks, who until this contest were averaging 3.4 runs allowed.

Hudson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Conte, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

As for Red Hook, they now have a winning record of 5-4. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Hudson: they've now won three in a row.

On Red Hook's side, Caden Heeney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits.

At the plate, Phillip Briehof was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Virga, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson will host Watervliet at 4:31 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Hook, they will face off against Spackenkill at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.71 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
