Basketball Recap: Mounds View Comes Up Short

Mounds View and Champlin Park squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mounds View had to settle for second. They fell to the Champlin Park Rebels 72-66. The Mustangs lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in March of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-40 score last time.

Mounds View's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Champlin Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Mounds View nor Champlin Park have any future games scheduled.
