Basketball Recap: Milford Has No Trouble Against Archbishop Williams

Milford lost to Archbishop Williams back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Milford Scarlet Hawks enjoyed a cozy 79-65 victory over the Archbishop Williams Bishops.

Milford had a senior duo take command as Andrew Rivera posted 28 points along with six assists and six boards and Gus Coutinho dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Coutinho has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 24 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Luca Testa, who scored 13 points.

Milford now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Archbishop Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milford will square off against Taunton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Archbishop Williams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Scituate at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
