Volleyball Recap: Tri County Takes a Loss

Tri County was the 3-1 winner over Sandy Creek when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Cougars on Thursday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Olive Clark paced Tri County's offense, picking up ten kills. Clark got some help from Macey Gronemeyer and her 17 assists. Alaina Kopf controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Tri County's loss dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Sandy Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Tri County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandy Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sutton on the 16th.
