Mannford extends road losing streak to four

Recap: Mannford Pirates vs. Berryhill Chiefs

The Mannford Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-46 to Berryhill, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mannford of the 48-46 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on Tuesday.

It was another big night for Ethan Meza, who scored 13 points along with five steals for Berryhill. The team also got some help courtesy of Brydan Palmer, who scored eight points.

Mannford's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Berryhill, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mannford will take on Bristow at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berryhill, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Kiefer at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Kiefer presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Berryhill in Oklahoma (Kiefer is ranked 134th, while Berryhill is ranked 387th).
