Recap: Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles
The Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Johnson-Brock on the road and fell 76-45. Exeter-Milligan/Friend was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-22.
Johnson-Brock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sloan Pelican led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pelican has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Koehler, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Exeter-Milligan/Friend's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Johnson-Brock, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Exeter-Milligan/Friend will take on Heartland on Thursday. As for Johnson-Brock, they will head out on the road to take on Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
