Basketball Recap: South Hills Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

South Hills and North Side faced off in a cross-town battle on Saturday. The South Hills Scorpions walked away with a 40-30 victory over the North Side Steers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 30-9 back in November.

South Hills is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for North Side, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

South Hills will venture away from home to take on Arlington Heights at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Side, they will take on Paschal at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
