Eastern came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Clearview Pioneers, sneaking past 37-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2025.

Eastern's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marlee Praesel, who posted eight points along with five boards and three steals. What's more, Praesel posted three blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Roscioli, who had nine points.

Eastern was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 9-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Clearview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Coming up, Eastern will venture away from home to face off against Cherokee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearview, they will host Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
