Football Game Preview: Aberdeen Tigers vs. Ririe Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Aberdeen Tigers will face off against the Ririe Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Aberdeen sitting on three straight wins and Ririe on ten.

Aberdeen is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past Priest River with points to spare, taking the game 28-12. 28 seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Jeremy Partida had a dynamite game, rushing for 139 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. Those 139 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Ririe sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 20-18 win over New Plymouth on Thursday.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Garrett Van Noy and Kolter Lewis. Van Noy rushed for 144 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries while Lewis rushed for 181 yards and one TD. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Lewis posted at least 181 rushing yards in the fifth games prior.

Aberdeen's record now sits at 7-3. As for Ririe, their record is now 10-0.

Aberdeen couldn't quite get it done against Ririe in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 20-8. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
