Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for Bethlehem Academy

After low-scoring totals in their previous four match, Bethlehem Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bethlehem Academy's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, they now have a losing record of 9-10-1.

Bethlehem Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, they will challenge New Ulm Cathedral at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
