Recap: Bishop Kelly Knights vs. Ridgevue Warhawks
The Bishop Kelly Knights waltzed into their match on Wednesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They secured a 47-42 W over Ridgevue. This was payback for Bishop Kelly, who suffered a 52-47 loss the last time these two teams met.
When it comes to explaining why Ridgevue lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jacotah Thomas. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points. Mckenna Durrant was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Bishop Kelly's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Ridgevue, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
