Softball Recap: Elkin Buckin' Elks vs. East Wilkes Cardinals
Elkin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-1 to the East Wilkes Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.
Elkin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Cincotti, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
