Soccer Recap: Shelley Drops Season-High Score on Bonneville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shelley). They blew past the Bonneville Bees 9-1 on Saturday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-2 win back in September.

Shelley's offense was hitting Bonneville from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Daniel Chavez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Shelley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Bonneville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14-1.

Looking ahead, Shelley will head out to challenge Blackfoot on Tuesday. Bonneville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
