Syracuse strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Auburn Bulldogs 54-27. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 27 points or more this season.

A big part of Syracuse's win came down to the chemistry between Will Janssen and his top target Mason Lintz. Janssen rushed for 239 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry while Lintz rushed for 152 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Janssen's longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Syracuse was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 544 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Although Auburn took the loss, they still got scores from Lane Jones, Tayber Rademacher, Clayton Brown, and Brenton Wenzl.

Syracuse's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Auburn, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Syracuse wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 54-7 win against Wilber-Clatonia on the 24th. As for Auburn, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-14 victory against Nebraska City on the 24th.
