It was fun while it lasted, but Junction City's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Friday. They lost 75-53 to the Shawnee Mission North Bison. The loss was the Bluejays' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Junction City fell to 4-1. As for Shawnee Mission North, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Junction City will host Washburn Rural at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washburn Rural is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season. As for Shawnee Mission North, they will square off against Shawnee Mission East on January 10th.
