Gayville-Volin waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Scotland/Menno Trappers by a score of 59-47.

Several Trappers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trent Guthmiller, who went 6 of 9 en route to 13 points and six rebounds. Treytan Bult was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

Gayville-Volin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Scotland/Menno, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gayville-Volin will welcome Mitchell Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Scotland/Menno, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wagner at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
