It's playoff time, and Point Loma had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the El Camino Real Royals on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. The win was familiar territory for the Pointers, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Hunter Reddeg and Dylan Upjohn did most of the damage at the plate: Reddeg got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI, while Upjohn went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Upjohn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Waterman, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Point Loma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Camino Real only posted an OBP of .300.

Point Loma pushed their record up to 21-12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for El Camino Real, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-9.

As of now, neither Point Loma nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
