Volleyball Recap: Bandera Comes Up Short

Bandera lost against Comfort on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The BULLDOGS fell just short of the Bobcats/Deer by a score of 2-1. The BULLDOGS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sydney Moore paced Bandera's offense, picking up 11 kills. Moore got some help from Kyra Blake and her 11 assists. Finally, Brooklyn Grabs and Jessi Battle kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Comfort was led to victory by Corrine Brown and Tindall Ahrens. Brown had 25 assists and 11 digs, while Ahrens had 12 digs, ten kills, and two aces. That's the most assists Brown has posted over her last six matchups. Jordan Judkins was another key player, getting ten digs and seven kills.

Bandera's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Comfort, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Bandera didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sam Houston on the 23rd. As for Comfort, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Northeast Early College on the 22nd.
