While Rockwall-Heath's victory against Royse City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bulldogs on Friday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

In the three sets Rockwall-Heath was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 17-25, 20-25, 25-12, 15-5.

Rockwall-Heath's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Royse City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-17 record this season.
