Football Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Whitney Young Dolphins and fell 48-6. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Dolphins are ranked 11th).

Clark's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Whitney Young, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Clark has already played their next game, a 39-0 defeat against Lane Tech on the 15th. As for Whitney Young, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 26-6 win against Phillips on the 11th.
