Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin suffered their closest defeat since May 10, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the St. Paul Knights by a score of 4-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Franklin and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Franklin will square off against Walpole at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Paul, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Doherty Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
