Softball Recap: West Bloomfield Takes a Loss

West Bloomfield managed to slip by Royal Oak the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lakers came up short against the Ravens on Tuesday, falling 9-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

West Bloomfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ASHLEIGH MCGUIRE, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. LAIKEN CONNOR was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.

West Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Royal Oak, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Ravens beat West Bloomfield by a score of 21-5 later that day.
