It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Vanguard had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fort Walton Beach Vikings. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won four games in a row.

They hit Fort Walton Beach with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ruby Scott, Kendal Davis, and Ashlyn Wan.

Vanguard is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six contests. As for Fort Walton Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1.
