Volleyball Recap: Von Steuben Comes Up Short

Von Steuben lost against Kennedy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Von Steuben ultimately came up short, they really made Kennedy work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 29-27.

Von Steuben's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Von Steuben and Roosevelt will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
