Basketball Recap: Needville Takes a Loss

Needville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Yorktown Wildcats 53-19. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1451st, while the Wildcats are ranked 658th).

Needville's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Yorktown, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Needville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-21 defeat against Tidehaven on the 27th. Yorktown has also already played their next game, a 55-47 loss against El Campo on the 27th.
