Galesburg Christian waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Tri-State Christian Huskies 3-0. The game was the first time the Lions have beaten the Huskies on their court since September 2, 2022.

Galesburg Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Tri-State Christian between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

Galesburg Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Tri-State Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Galesburg Christian will head out on the road to face off against Quad Cities Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-State Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pathway Christian on the 30th.
