Basketball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Cisco Loboes, falling 67-15. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1346th, while the Loboes are ranked 170th).

Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Cisco, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Albany Lions challenge the Anson Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cisco, they will challenge Stamford at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cisco's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
