Baseball Recap: Indianapolis Kings Takes a Loss

Indianapolis Kings entered their matchup against Summit on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Indianapolis Kings fell 7-2 to Summit.

Lincoln Nottingham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. Another player making a difference was Will Siegfried, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Indianapolis Kings' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 15-6-1. As for Summit, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Coming up, Indianapolis Kings will venture away from home to take on Southport at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
