East Aurora won the last time they faced Tonawanda and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Timberwolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Ben Wright spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, East Aurora saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ross Rozanski, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

The win got East Aurora back to even at 2-2. As for Tonawanda, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
