The Stark County Rebels will take on the Heyworth Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stark County will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
On Friday, Stark County earned a 5-2 win over Galva.
Scarlett Steelman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hallie Newton was excellent, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Cambri Holmstrom was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Heyworth came out on top against El Paso-Gridley on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Titans. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won seven in a row.
Heyworth also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Natalie Kopp gave up two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits.
At the plate, Heyworth got a big performance out of Emerson Becker, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Madilyn Alvis also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Stark County's record now sits at 16-8. As for Heyworth, their record is now 16-10.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Stark County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .380. However, it's not like Heyworth struggles in that department as they've averaged .359. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
