Softball Game Preview: West Lauderdale Knights vs. Ripley Tigers

For the second straight game, West Lauderdale will face off against Ripley. The Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

West Lauderdale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over Ripley.

For Ripley's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Edwards, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

West Lauderdale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ripley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-20.
