Baseball Recap: Asher Comes Up Short

Asher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the New Lima Falcons. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Asher now has a losing record of 6-7. As for New Lima, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Asher will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vanoss at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for New Lima, they will head out to challenge Stuart at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
