After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Van Buren County, Boyd Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 52-29 margin over the Franklin Classical School Knights. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Boyd Christian found their leader in sophomore Brooke Kesey, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cydney Perry, who posted four points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Boyd Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Boyd Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Franklin Classical School, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Boyd Christian will square off against Dickson Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Boyd Christian is facing Dickson Academy at the right time seeing as Dickson Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Franklin Classical School, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boyd Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th.
