Soccer Recap: South Salem Makes It Five in a Row at Home + How To Watch

After losing to West Salem the last time they met, South Salem decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saxons had just enough and edged out the Titans 3-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering South Salem's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while West Salem are ranked 95th).

The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five matchups. As for West Salem, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.
