Bishop O'Connell is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Wasatch Academy. The Bishop O'Connell Knights fell 64-52 to the Wasatch Academy Tigers. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makel Minor, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Norton, who had ten points.

Bishop O'Connell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Wasatch Academy, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Bishop O'Connell and Combine Academy National will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Wasatch Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wasatch Academy Tigers challenge the Legacy Early College Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
