Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton lost against Temecula Prep back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hamilton Bobcats took a blow against the Temecula Prep Patriots, falling 69-23. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1151st, while the Patriots are ranked 381st).

Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gustavo Villalobos, who posted five points.

Hamilton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Temecula Prep, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Hamilton has already played their next game, a 68-7 victory against Borrego Springs on the 17th. As for Temecula Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-57 win against Citrus Valley on the 14th.
