Jalynn Banda was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Banda has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Banda was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Kendall Nakano was incredible, firing off three home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Amarie Encarnacion, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.
