Volleyball Game Preview: Pecatonica Indians vs. Dakota Indians

Pecatonica will head out to take on Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Pecatonica came up short against Durand and fell 2-0.

While Pecatonica was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Dakota posted their closest win since September 13th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lena-Winslow 2-1. The game was the first time the Indians have beaten the Panthers on their court since September 3, 2022.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dakota got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-21.

Pecatonica's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Dakota, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10-1.

Pecatonica came out on top in a nail-biter against Dakota in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 2-1. Does Pecatonica have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dakota turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
