Baseball Recap: Lincoln Prep Takes a Loss

Lincoln Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-15 to the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-15 loss last Wednesday.

Lincoln Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

While Lincoln Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
