Basketball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Elizabethton's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

While Elizabethton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 66-62 W over the Chilhowie Warriors on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Fighting Cyclones also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Elizabethton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Chilhowie, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
