Football Recap: Marquette Skates Past St. Bede with Ease + How To Watch

Marquette won the last time they faced St. Bede and things went their way on Friday too. The Crusaders blew past the Bruins 42-7. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won three games by 31 points or more so far this season.

Marquette had a senior duo take command as Grant Dose gained 142 total yards and Anthony Couch threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns.

Marquette was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Bede only rushed for 121.

When it comes to explaining why St. Bede lost, don't look at Landon Marquez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 75 yards and one score.

Marquette now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Bede, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marquette will host Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Fighting Irish have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for St. Bede, they will square off against Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
