Baseball Recap: Greeley West Takes a Loss

Greeley West lost against Pueblo South back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Greeley West Spartans lost 10-3 to the Pueblo South Colts. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly seven runs.

Greeley West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Wildt, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Wildt a new career-high.

Greeley West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pueblo South, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Coming up, Greeley West will face off against Pueblo Centennial at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pueblo South, they will take on Skyline at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
