Basketball Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Schulenburg Shorthorns. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats/Lady Cats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-41 back in January.

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Schulenburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Shiner the next time they take the court. Schulenburg will host Shiner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Bloomington will host them at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th.
