Softball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Ripley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nitro Wildcats. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 15-7.

Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Nitro, their victory bumped their record up to 11-15.

Ripley has already played their next matchup (against Roane County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Nitro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Winfield on the 1st.
