Volleyball Recap: Hillsdale Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hillsdale Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Mendon Hornets on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Colts have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Elizabeth Creger paced Hillsdale Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Creger got some help from Elizabeth Andaloro and her 20 assists. Darby Horsfall controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hillsdale Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 25-12-1. As for Mendon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-6-1 record this season.

Hillsdale Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mendon, they will square off against Ubly on Thursday.
